CHEDDAR GRILLED CHEESE
WITH PIQUILLO PEPPERS
AND MARCONA ALMONDS

  • 2 Pane Rustico, sliced
  • 1 tsp Unsalted Butter, soft
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 slices Castello® Black Pepper Cheddar
  • 2 tbsp Preserved Piquillo Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Marcona Almonds, finely chopped.
Instructions
  1. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Turn the bread over on a cutting board so the butter is facing down.
  3. Spread the mayonnaise evenly onto one slice of bread.
  4. Place the marcona almonds and piquillo peppers on the slice of bread that has mayonnaise. Springle with a pinch of salt.
  5. Put the sliced bread together so all ingredients are in the middle.
  6. Place the sandwich in a panini press and cook until the bread is toasted, and the cheese is warm.
