GOUDA AND TAMARIND CHUTNEY
GRILLED CHEESE

  • 2 Pane Rustico, sliced
  • 1 tsp Unsalted Butter, soft
  • 1 tbsp Cream Cheese
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper, cracked
  • 1 tsp Date and Tamarind Chutney
  • 1 pinch Maldon Salt
  • 2 slices Castello® Gouda
Instructions
  1. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, black pepper, and chutney together until smooth.
  3. Turn the bread over on a cutting board so the butter is facing down.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture on one piece of the bread and sprinkle with Maldon Salt.
  5. Place sliced gouda on the other piece of bread and invert onto the slice of bread that has the cream cheese mixture. Both cream cheese mixture should now be sandwiches between the slices of bread.
  6. Place the sandwich in a panini press and cook until the bread is toasted, and the cheese is warm.
